Children's Classes
We offer a range of children's swim classes at Aqua Swim Academy, from parent and baby classes to options for school-age children and above to develop their strokes and learn vital life-saving skills.
We don't only hold classes in the swimming pool, as some of our classes and private lessons can take place in your home pool or in the many Swiss lakes in the Summer months.
What to Expect
We understand that every learner has a different level of confidence in the water. Our qualified Aqua Swim Academy swim instructors are ready to empower our students to learn independently and become comfortable, confident swimmers.
Our classes last at least 30 minutes and the majority take place in pools heated to around 30 degrees celsius. Classes have an average class size of 4 to 5 swimmers per instructor.

These classes are intended to introduce your baby or toddler to the water with the support of a parent or guardian, starting from 3 months of age. We offer the following Aqua Swim levels to this group:
Level 1: Water Discovery
Level 2: Water Explorer

Studies have shown children learn best through play*. Luna will take your child through an exciting and educative aquatic adventure that nurtures their love of water.

Swim Strokes
Learning to Swim Independently
Once your child is feeling confident enough to swim without their parent and has reached their 3rd birthday, they can move to the Swim Basics tier. These lessons allow your child to further their independence in the water. This can be achieved by taking two Aqua Swim levels:
Level 4: Stroke Discovery

Swim Masters
Refine and Perfect Swimming Technique
Once your child has learned the basics, they will begin to master their swimming skills. The three Swim Masters levels take them from developing their strokes to mastering their technique and timing across all four swimming strokes.

Whether you are looking for weekly group lessons, private lessons at our facility or private lessons at your home we have a simple and affordable pricing structure to help you get started.
Children's Lesson Pricing
Group Lessons
Prices start from: CHF 159.- per month (billed monthly or per trimester)
Ages: 3 months and above
Student to Teacher Ratio: 4:1 for Baby & Parent levels > 5:1 for Swim stokes and above
Class Length: 30 - 45 minutes
One weekly group lesson that focuses on essential water safety skills, for beginners all the way to advanced swimmers. A 10% discount is available for siblings.
Semi-Private Lessons
Price: CHF 120.- for 2 swimmers per lesson billed per class, monthly or per trimester)
Ages: 3 months and above
Student to Teacher Ratio: 2:1
Class Length: 30 minutes
30-minute individual lessons at our pools with a 2:1 student-to-teacher ratio. Perfect for children who lack confidence in the water, or want to work on a specific stroke or technique.
Private Lessons
Price: CHF 70.- per lesson billed per class, monthly or per trimester
Ages: 3 months and above
Student to Teacher Ratio: 1:1
Class Length: 30 minutes
30-minute individual lessons at our pools with a 1:1 student-to-teacher ratio. Perfect for children who lack confidence in the water, or want to work on a specific stroke or technique.
